In 1374, the first major incident of dance mania in Medieval Europe took place in Germany with many not stopping to eat or sleep during this time and grimacing in pain and exhaustion.
In 2010, Australia’s first female Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, was sworn into office after challenging Kevin Rudd for party leadership believing the Rudd government had lost its way.
In 2012, the crypt Elvis Presley was buried in was removed from auction following protests it should be maintained as a shrine.
