URGENT: Defence Reparation Scheme Closing

Time is fast running out to lodge a Report of Abuse to the DRS, the Defence Reparation Scheme. Veterans (serving or ex-serving) who experienced trauma as a result of abuse must lodge an application to the Defence Force Ombudsman by the 30 June 2022. Failing to do so by 30.06.2022 means they will be barred and lose their chance. Solicitor Brianna Tapscott explains.
Reparation: the action of making amends for a wrong one has done, by providing payment or other assistance to those who have been wronged.
