Heading for Extinction

A recent report by a group of scientists has identified 47 vertebrate species (that is mammals, birds, reptiles, frogs and fish), that are in danger of extinction. 16 may already be extinct, and 9 others more than likely to become extinct in the next twenty years. Barometer’s Barry Mitchell spoke to one of the authors of the report, Professor John Woinarski of Charles Darwin University.
