Cardboard rooms to test designs for the new WCH
Posted on: Thu 26 May 2022
The construction of the new Women’s and Children’s Hospital is in the design phase.
UniSA’s Studio for Complex Human Environment Design has assembled temporary mock-up rooms, made of cardboard, where the human experience will help the designers modify the initial layouts before physical construction.
Doctor Peter Schumacher, director of the studio, joins Tom Mann to talk through the details of these mock-up rooms and the overall design process.
