As has been discussed on Barometer before, the true extent of land clearing in Queensland (but not only in Queensland) is being revealed by new research, and the statistics are shocking. Barry Mitchell spoke to Dr Stuart Blanch of the World Wildlife Fund about what this might mean for the future, and how clearing can be transitioned to reforestation.
