I’M WANITA is the story of a renegade country music singer and her odyssey to live out her childhood dreams to be a country and western star. The film follow’s Wanita as she treks to the home of country music Nashville to record her latest album and potentially finally break through to the mainstream.
Screens reviewer Aimee Knight joined Breakfast’s Zoe Kounadis and Tom Mann to speak about the film, the complex character of Wanita and what films like this can do for the careers of the artists depicted.
