In 1939, World War Two began when Germany invaded Poland by attacking the free city of Danzig. Led by Adolf Hitler, the Nazis invaded Poland to recapture lost territory and establish Nazi rule over their eastern neighbour. 

In 1985, the wreckage of the Titanic was found by American Oceanographer Robert Ballard seventy-three years after it sank.

In 1986, Paul McCartney released his sixth solo album ‘Press To Play’. The album featured songs such as Stranglehold, Talk More Talk, and However Absurd.
