Empire Energy Fracking Freebie

The Morrison Government intends to provide a $21million grant to Empire Energy to develop fracking projects in the Beetaloo Basin, in the Northern Territory. But 350.org has found evidence of dealings between the Liberal party, donors and Empire Energy that bring the efficacy of the deal into question – notwithstanding that the climate crisis demands we open up no new fossil fuel projects. Barry Mitchell spoke to 350’s Shani Tager.
