In 1982, three people died in a tragic accident on the set of The Twilight Zone: The Movie.
In 2000, the 87th Tour de France’s final stage was held. It was later declared that there was no winner after Lance Armstrong was disqualified for doping.
In 2010, one of the world’s biggest boy bands, One Direction, was first formed on the British talent show The X Factor.
