The Joint Standing Committee on Trade and Investment Growth (led by Christensen) is holding an inquiry about why the banks and other investors are starting to pull out of fossil fuel investments (although I think we know why). Both George Christensen (Queensland nNational) and Keith Pitt (Nationals Minister for Resources) would like to ‘encourage’ the banks to keep investing in fossil fuels, especially coal.
