Skating on (virtual) thin ice

Sir Ernest Shackleton secured his place in history over 100 years ago when he took on one of the most dangerous journeys imaginable, traveling from one coast of Antarctica to the other.
Now, as a part of Illuminate Adelaide, you can get a small taste of that journey, thanks to a virtual reality experience designed by environmental scientist Tim Jarvis AM and Monkeystack.
Tim joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Paul Davies to chat all about it.
