Herself follows single mother Sandra, played by Clare Dunne, who escapes her abusive partner with her two young children, only to find herself trapped in temporary accommodation.
Directed by Phyllida Lloyd, from a screenplay by Malcolm Campbell and Clare Dunne, the film also stars Harriet Walter and Conleth Hill.
