The Federal National Party has made moves in the Senate to gut the Murray-Darling Basin Plan.
The Murray-Darling Basin Plan was legislated in 2012, with bipartisan support across the Commonwealth and basin states, to provide more water for the environment.
Conservation SA’s Craig Wilkins joins Breakfast’s Zoe Kounadis and Tom Mann to discuss the response to this move, what the recent South Australian State Budget means for the environment sector, and the Federal Government’s efforts to progress a nuclear waste dump in South Australia.
