Screens Review – Cousins

Cousins is a new release out of New Zealand based on a widely successful novel from 1992.
The film follows three Māori women across their lives as they face family issues, career changes and relationship difficulties after one of the cousins is taken to an orphanage.
Our screens reviewer Aimee Knight spoke with Breakfast’s Tom Mann all about the film, its visual style and the emotional journey taken across the decades.
