Greyhound racing has been a controversial sport for decades, having undergone sporadic bans across Australian states after live baiting scandals and animal cruelty concerns.
In recent weeks, Greyhound Racing South Australia (GRSA) has come under fire over a lack of transparency in its reporting of data on greyhound deaths and injuries.
