In 1940, the British evacuated over 338 thousand troops from France in what was called the “Miracle of Dunkirk”. The event became an icon of British strength and rallying together.

In 1976, four dozen people went to a Sex Pistols show that would go on to be called “the gig that changed the world”.

In 2002, Avril Lavigne released her debut album “Let Go”. The album went 7 times Platinum in Australia.
