Poverty in the Pandemic

Australia, as well as global superpowers such as the US and China are projecting economic growth following the severe difficulties of the past year. However, many countries including some of our closest neighbours are still struggling to see some sort of economic boost due to an array of factors.
So what responsibility does Australia have to our neighbours and how could their decline have broader impacts?
