Electric trucking

Australia’s trucking industry is going electric. However, rather than utilising recharging stations like other electric vehicles, the industry is using changeable batteries.
With uptake and infrastructure slow for electric passenger vehicles, trucking is leading the way in Australia.
Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis are joined by University of New South Wales postgraduate researcher Gail Broadbent, to discuss the trucking industry’s foray into electric trucks.
