Adelaide’s disappearing trees

Posted on: Tue 4 May 2021

What’s happening to Adelaide’s trees? is a major report prepared by community, non-profit, and professional organisations concerned with the rapid decline of trees in Adelaide.

The report’s research outlines a one to six per cent reduction in tree canopy within the city, as Adelaide loses an estimated 75,000 trees a year.

Breakfast’s Zoe Kounadis and Tom Mann are joined by Conservation SA’s Craig Wilkins to discuss the issue as well as Conservation SA’s nominations for the 2021 SA Environment Awards.
