New laws passed last week in the US state of Georgia increases identification requirements for mail-in voting.

The law also prohibits third party groups from passing out snacks and water to voters in line and sharply reduces the number of ballot ball drop boxes permitted in Georgia.

These laws have been met with criticism from the left and middle, as an attempt to disenfranchise Black voters.
