Bob Kearney: The mystery of Celtic Wood

For 101 years it was the focus of speculation and debate! History books and military records asked where our Australian troops disappeared to in the mists and muddy, bloody battle field of Celtic Wood, and how they disappeared. In 1917 World War I war correspondent and historian Charles Bean wrote… “…and I believe that only one of them got back”. They became known as Australia’s ‘Lost Company’.
Fast forward to 2017. It took the tenacity, calm logic and diligent research of South Australian Author, Army Veteran Robert (Dogs) Kearney to solve this mystery. He tells us about it and the writing of his book RAID ON CELTIC WOOD.
