As authorities in the US are still grappling with the details behind the attack in Atlanta, many groups have begun to point out the likely racist misogyny that contributed to attitudes behind the shooting.
While we’re faced by the worst impacts of these attitudes, it becomes important to unpack and address how racist misogyny still permeates our everyday culture and how to begin to remove it.
