Ferret Scout Cars played an important reconnaissance role in our Defence Force for many years, but were phased out and replaced by Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) for service in Vietnam. Today we get a rare glimpse into the memories of two men who served in Recce Troop as we hear some of those memories, including tall tales – definitely TRUE from the era.
