Australians Pulling the Plug on Social Media

A recent nationally representative survey has shown that Australians are willing and able to discontinue their use of social media.

The survey found that the generation you were born in and your level of education, will likely have a bearing on whether you can discontinue using social media.

Roger Patulny, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Wollongong joins Breakfast’s Soph Landau and Paul Davies to discuss how social media use could change in the coming years.
