Sex Education Reboot

Teach Us Consent is a new petition launched by an ex-Sydney school student imploring educators to include consent in sexual education. More than 30,000 people have signed this e-petition since its launch on International Women’s Day.
A community organisation in Mexico City revamped their sexuality education program in 2016 so young people trained in health education can facilitate challenging debate. Following evidence that shows critical discussion about gender, sexuality and relationships can deconstruct damaging gender norms what can Australia learn from this program to make our sex education better?
