EU Correspondent – Ineke Mules

Former French President Nicholas Sarkozy has been sentenced to three years in jail for corruption.

This comes from an incident in 2014 when Sarkozy, who had already stepped down as President attempted to bribe a judge in order to secure a prestigious job.

Also, Spain is considering allowing vaccinated UK tourists if a deal is not made around the EU vaccination passports.
