Jobseeker Changes

Yesterday the government announced people on unemployment benefits will receive an extra $25 per week under changes to JobSeeker starting in April.
However this means they will receive less money overall due to the end of the coronavirus supplement.
Aside from the coronavirus supplement, this increase of $25 per week is the first raise to the rate since 1994.
