In 2017, the year of the ANZAC Centenary, Service Voices did an interview with Colleen and Graeme Buchan, organisers of the upcoming Centenary celebrations at the little Riverland town of Pompoota, twenty three kilometres upriver from Murray Bridge. It’s an interesting story about early settlement along the Murray River; retraining of returned servicemen from world wars one and two; and the soldier settlement programme.
