As Trump’s second impeachment trial approaches, newly elected right-wing congresswoman, Marjorie Taylor Greene was removed from all house committee assignments in a vote, partially due to a resurfaced video of Greene calling for Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s death and heckling a survivor of a Florida school shooting.
The conspiracy theorist and steadfast Trump supporter claimed the act was staged, despite all 221 House democrats and 11 Republicans voted to remove her from said assignments.
At the same time, Representative Liz Cheney has been censured for her vote to impeach Trump. Republican Ben Sasse responded by releasing a video, at one point saying “politics isn’t about the weird worship of one dude”.
