Screen Reviews – Minari

Posted on: Tue 9 Feb 2021

2020 was a great opportunity for creatives to knuckle down and share their stories.

Lee Isaac Chung is a perfect example of this, the director and writer of Minari, an American comedy-drama film released last year.

The story follows a South Korean American family’s move to an Arkansas farm in search of its own American dream.

With a new life comes challenges in the strange and rugged Ozarks, along with discovering the power of family and what defines a home.

Tom Mann speaks to screens reviewer, Aimee Knight to speak about family, nostalgia and the American Dream and how its portrayed in this film.
