Scrubbing pollution from the air
Posted on: Mon 25 Jan 2021
Last week the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere was measured at the highest level in human history. Furthermore, this level is growing every year!
New US research has shown how “CO2 scrubbers” could be used to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide but it would take a colossal amount of funding from governments and businesses to happen.
Deanna D’Alessandro, Professor & ARC Future Fellow at the University of Sydney, joins Tom Mann to discuss how CO2 scrubbers work and what would be the overall cost to take on this method.
