Australia has a range of unique and incredible islands, which are home to a vast array of flora and fauna.
Last summer’s bushfires, which had a huge impact on Kangaroo island, have put a spotlight on the fragility of those ecosystems and the importance of protecting our natural wildlife.
Freya Higgins-Desbiolles, Senior Lecturer in Tourism Management from the University of South Australia, joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to explore.
