Dawning Glori

Don Glori – an anagram of Gordon Li, bassist, synth-programmer Melbournian musician extraordinaire – released their debut EP ‘Dawn Calling’ in December 2020.

Recorded live to tape across two sweltering days in January 2020, the quartet expertly fuses jazz with house – resulting in a sharp, contemporary sound.

Packed Lunch’s Leon Bishop spoke with Gordon to explore the influences and studio techniques that went into this groundbreaking work.
