Devastating Impact of Fires on Animals

A new Report commissioned by the World Wildlife Fund for Nature has found that the 2019/20 fires in Australia may have impacted up to 3 billions animals – including 143 million mammals. They were affected directly by the fires, or by the destruction of habitat. Barry Mitchell spoke to Dr Stuart Blanche from WWF Australia about this Report.
