Managing Privacy in a Pandemic

Contact tracers have faced difficulty in managing South Australia’s recent COVID-19 outbreak.

This was largely due to receiving inaccurate information from potential carriers of the virus. The government now hopes to better control contact tracing with new initiatives including digital check ins.

Dr Sarah Moulds, Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of South Australia join Breakfast’s Zoe Kounadis & Tom Mann to discuss why some people are still wary of revealing personal information to the Government.
