Technology paired with the internet has already begun to change our lives to a point where many modern conveniences would be unrecognisable a few decades ago.

These advancements, commonly grouped as “The Internet of Things”, have begun to envelop almost all aspects of our lives.

But, with the speed of change, it is clear that developments could continue beyond our ability to properly adapt.

So how do we best prepare to embrace future technological advancements while maintaining wariness for potentially damaging progress?

Kayleen Manwaring, Senior Lecturer at the School of Taxation & Business Law at the University of New South Wales joins Breakfast to discuss the risks of embracing these technologies.
