COVID-19 impact on early primary education

In the early stages of COVID-19, heavy restrictions resulted in a large number of Australians having to work and study from home.

It is no surprise the adjustment would be disrupting to someone of any age, but some education specialists are questioning if children in early education may pay a higher price in the long term?

Liz Rouse, Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Education at Deakin University, joins Breakfast to talk us through the short and long-term impacts of COVID-19 on early primary school education.
