Govt propose bill to share our data

If it sometimes seems like different arms of the government don’t talk to each other, it might be because they can’t. However that might be changing if the Government introduces a draft legislation that will allow the public’s personal data to be shared between Government agencies.
The draft legislation recently proposed by the Federal Government, The Data Availability and Transparency Bill, could allow the public’s personal data to be shared between Government agencies.
This would override the current laws that govern the way government bodies collect and use our data.
