2019-20 Bushfire Aftermath Half a Year Later

The effects of the Black Summer Bushfires of 2019-2020 are still displaying the environmentally devastating effects around the country after a time frame of over half a year later.

Dr Anu Kumar, Principal Research Scientist at the CSIRO, joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to talk about how the rain and weather conditions have turned the Bushfire-ravaged areas have reduced the dirt and ash into a muddy, sludge-filled quagmire as the warmer seasons ominously approach the country once again
