Russian politician and anti-corruption activist, Alexei Navaly, was on a trip to Siberia when he was apparently poisoned last week.
The mystery around his poison remains unclear, however analysis of the chemical cholinesterase in tests have shown that he was poisoned with a nerve agent and many are drawing parallels to previous incidents in the country’s past.
Europe correspondent, Ineke Mules, speaks with Breakfast’s Zoe Kounadis to discuss this news and more from the continent.
