Class divide in Australian workplace

As Victoria battles Covid-19, multiple fingers are being pointed in different directions over who is to blame.
One of these groups is the essential workers who ignored recommendations to take the day off if they were feeling sick, increasing risk of workplace transmission.
Research suggests many of these essential workers felt forced to come into work as they had received no form of financial security since the outbreak began.
Associate Professor Kantha Dayaram from the School of Management at Curtin University speaks with Breakfast’s Oliver Brown about how the pandemic has demonstrated a growing divide between Australian working classes.
