Australian Newsrooms not Nearly Diverse Enough

A recent study has revealed that Australian broadcasters have a problem with diversity in their newsrooms, with almost all news presenters of the major broadcasters featuring anchors if Anglo-western decent. Dr Usha Rodrigues of Deacon University has aimed to determine why this is and what can be done to make the news room a better environment for those of multicultural backgrounds.
