JobKeeper or DividendKeeper?

Though the Australian Government’s JobKeeper package seems to have been a lifeline for the Australian economy, some larger companies seem to have been using the extra funds to pay off someone other than their employees: their shareholders.
Though the government has made it clear that JobKeeper won’t last forever, millions in dividends are being paid out in a highly uncertain financial future.
Sessional Lecturer and PhD Candidate in the School of Management at RMIT University, Andrew Linden spoke with Breakfast‘s Zoe Kounadis and Tom Mann about what this means for the Australian economy.
