From Case-free to Level 3 Lockdown
Posted on: Mon 17 Aug 2020
After having no cases for months, New Zealand has experienced a shock second wave of COVID-19 cases, with part of the country now in level 3 lockdown.
Many of the new cases seem to be linked to one cluster that broke out in Auckland in the past week, though the exact source of the outbreak is still a mystery.
The rest of New Zealand is currently in level 2 lockdowns and both will remain in place until August 27.
New Zealand Correspondent, Oscar Perress from 95bFM joins Breakfast‘s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to chat about the current situation.
