David Lloyd: Honouring the men and boys of the Small Ships

During 1988 the U.S. Government granted Veteran Status to WWII Merchant Mariners… it was long overdue recognition that addressed a historic injustice. In 2010 the Australian Government finally recognised the wartime service of the Aussie mariners who served U.S. Army Small Ships Section, and that same year the Unit was Inducted into the U.S. Army Transportation Corps Hall of Fame.
