Concerns over future of female education

University officials have raised fresh concerns about the government’s proposed changes to university fees, this time focusing on humanities degrees.
Though the fee changes will affect all students, some are worried that women, who make up the majority of the student body, will bear the brunt.
Senior Lecturer in Higher Education at The University of Queensland Deanne Gannaway spoke with Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis about why female students are being disproportionately affected.
