Mason’s Covid Lockdown Horror

Caitlin loves it when I interview strangers I’ve met on Grindr and Mason has quite the story. An American living in Vietnam, he was in Sydney for Mardi Gras when he met a boy from Adelaide. He was only meant to spend a week here but as Vietnam sealed the border, he was not able to go home. So he ended up locked down in SA with his brand new boyfriend. Things did not go well.
He’s fine now, staying in a long-term hotel room and working remotely until he can get home. He’s working on making the autobiographical story into a play, with the working title Bolted so that’s a win for him.
