On this day in history;
In 1789, 700-1000 French citizens stormed the Bastille fortress in Paris and consequently sparked the French Revolution which would last until 1799.
In 1983, Nintendo released the Mario Brothers arcade game across Japan (however this was not the public’s introduction to Mario).
In 1987, Prince released the single ‘U Got the Look’, which was the most successful single from the acclaimed ‘Sign ‘O’ The Times’ album.
