Hype Duo: We will never forget you

Musicians Grug and Micko (Greg Weir and Michael Kelly), live in the same suburb with their families. They were disappointed that they couldn’t pay respects on ANZAC Day as they normally would, so they used the internet to overcome social distancing hurdles and produced a song “We Will Never Forget You“, commemorating all who have ‘sacrificed so much for our amazing country’. The boys posted a video on Facebook not expecting much reaction and woke up the next day to realise the song had hit 100,000 views in a matter of hours. They were inundated with messages, emails and phone calls about the song.
