Lockdown gives space for artist’s creativity

Lockdown has given many local artists the time to work on creative projects, just like local potter Mon from Mon’s Pots, who says it’s given her the time to “hone in on my skills”.
“You start off with a lump of clay and you get on the wheel and can form it into something that’s really useful and beautiful, it’s fascinating and it’s a great,” she says.
“Once you’ve developed your skill to do it – it’s really fun to do.”
